The American Lung Association - Better Breathers Club sent this reminder on Thursday, October 5, 2006.

The American Lung Association reminds you and your loved ones to get Vaccinated for the flu this year.  As COPD and asthma patients are particularly susceptible to influenza.  Influenza infections can lead to constriction of the airways and persistent decline in lung function for those with asthma.  It may also lead to bacterial infections for those with COPD.

Getting vaccinated helps reduce your risks significantly.
